New Wagon R set to be 'The Blue Eyed Boy'

WAGON R has undergone a major facelift and the fresh version of New Wagon R will have a longer, taller and wider body with larger doors, wheels and bumpers. Maruti Suzuki, the number one car manufacturer in India launched the all New Wagon R today on 23rd April 2010.
The New Maruti Wagon R boasts a 1.0 litre K Series engine joining the league with A-Star and Zen Estilo having the same engine. The K Series engine produces a power of 67 BHP and 10 Kgm of peak torque.
The New Wagon R has been launched with three models
LX, Lxi and Vxi. The top model is available with features like ABS, Airbags and stereo system installed in it. The New Wagon R is soon to launch a model supported by LPG with a price range of 3.3 Lakh to 4.5 Lakh.
According to Maruti Suzuki the New Wagon R will give a mileage of 18.9 kmpl of petrol in standard conditions. The K series 1000 cc engine was installed in the New Wagon R as the old one had BS IV emission norms complaint engine. The new K series engine is reported to offer a 5 speed manual transmission.
