Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to face the stiff competition in the hatchback segment. As a step in that direction the company is going to bring out the New Maruti Wagon R on April 23. The designing of the new Maruti Wagon R looks different and the new model has been rounded a little. The New Maruti Wagon R also has a rear wash and wipe and an optional ABS and Airbags option is also available in the higher end VXi model. The front grille has been altered, the headlights and bumpers have also been
redone and look much better now. Also, the tail lamps have been restyled along with the rear window glass that gives the new Maruti Wagon R a better look and feel. The company is also bringing out the CNG version with the launch of the new model. The Maruti Wagon R is priced between Rs 3.3 to 3.5 lakh. Among the other features of the new Maruti Wagon R is the steering – same as in Maruti Swift. Next is the dashboard that has a new central console that comes with integrated stereo AUX-In for ipod connectivity and larger circular control for the aircon.
The third generation Maruti Wagon R that would be launched soon is a popular car in its segment. The new Wagon R is Bharat IV compliant 998cc K- series engine capable of producing 65 bhp power at 6200 rpm.
The hand crafted blanks make the most of the new Maruti Wagon R and also provide the necessary stiffness to the car without increasing weight. The chassis of the new Maruti Wagon Ris stiffer allowing the driver to drive in a more relaxed fashion.
